Maximize Student Enrollment, Get Immediate Student Feedback, Help Students In University And College Selection Using Social Interaction Pods.
With many universities supporting eLearning and distance learning, it has become increasingly challenging for university marketing heads to get students enrolled. There are various challenges being faced by them. One, provide important information about various courses and events to the students visiting the site in an attractive way. Two, provide some way of collaboration between already enrolled students of the university, to share information on various events, course details, reading material, etc. Three, provide course updates to all the students at a centralized location and get immediate student feedback. Four, provide a way of collaboration between instructors and students.
Given these challenges, the marketing decision maker is stuck with having to build and maintain the collaborating either on-premise, leading to higher up-front costs and risks, or outsource the collaboration using other social networking software which is not a part of the website, thus losing the context of interaction. How do you then make sure that the collaboration happens within the site and in-context?
